The Bintang Bolong Lodge is a member of the Gambian Association of Small Scale Enterprises in Tourism (ASSET), whose membership base includes craft market vendors, tourist taxi drivers, official tourist guides, juice pressers and fruit sellers as well as a number of small hotels, guest houses and ground tour operators. Together we strive to secure an ecological aware and environment friendly cornerstone to the Gambian tourist economy.

We initiated and actively support the school cooperation between the Bintang Bolong Lower Basic School and the Grund- und Hauptschule Dauchingen, a primary and secondary school in the Black Forest (Germany).
